Small Box
Difficulty - Easy
Materials
- Brown wrapping paper
- Cream and brown patterned scrapbooking or craft paper
- Cream 3/8 inch wide ribbed ribbon
- Gold thin ribbon
- Amber small rhinestone
Instructions
- Wrap a small rectangular box in brown paper.
- Cut a piece of the coordinating paper 2 inches smaller than the
width of the box and the length to wrap around the entire box plus
1 inch.
- If the craft paper is not long enough to wrap around the entire
box, tape two pieces together on the wrong side of the paper, matching
the pattern if possible, to achieve the desired length.
- Using double-sided tape, tape the inside of the craft paper in
even intervals at the edges. Apply to the box, centering the paper
evenly on the top of the box and overlapping the ends on the bottom
of the box.
- Cut three pieces of cream ribbon long enough to wrap around the
entire box plus 1 inch. Glue the ribbon onto both edges and middle
of the craft paper, overlapping the ends on the bottom of the box.
- Cut a piece of gold ribbon long enough to wrap around the entire
box plus 12 inches.
- Center the gold ribbon on the bottom of the box. Wrap the ribbon
around to the top of the box, centering it onto the middle cream ribbon,
and tie a knot.
- Tie a bow with the gold ribbon the same way shoelaces are tied.
- Even out the loops so they match and trim the tails at an angle
to the desired length.
- Glue a small amber rhinestone onto the middle of the bow.
